Hexion Community Service Day 2023

Hexion held its annual day of service benefiting a variety of organizations in Columbus as part of the company’s annual “Hexion Cares Day” on Thursday, August 24. The event showcases Hexion’s ongoing commitment to supporting and making a positive impact in its local communities.

Approximately 100 Hexion associates logged more than 420 volunteer hours supporting local causes. During the day, associates did the following:

• Built playhouses and worked on an actual house with Habitat for Humanity.
• Made blankets for the Ronald McDonald House
• Sorted donations and fed residents of the YWCA Family Center
• Cleaned classrooms and a playground at the Columbus Early Learning Center
• Delivered meals for Meals on Wheels
• Prepared items for meal distribution with Life Care Alliance
• Cleaned the library and sorted books at Home for Families.

This fun-filled day was a wonderful way to show the community where we live and work that #HexionCares.
