AcTivator™ Consolidation Aids

Hexion's curable resins will normally only cure through differential pressure and temperature. Our AcTivator™ and AcTivator Oil™ consolidation aids, as chemical agents, allow for proppant pack consolidation at low temperature and are compatible with most aqueous fracturing fluid additives such as gelling agents, breakers, crosslinkers, surfactants and foamers. Our AcTivator Oil consolidation aid is compatible with most oil-based frac fluids. Hexion also provides resin coated proppants that consolidate at low temperature and do not require consolidation aids.
